Anja and I just graduated from high school not long ago and we were still quite unsure what we wanted to study in college, so we decided to intern with Cycle.land. Here we share some thoughts about our experience so far.
Meet the Cyclist: Jake Backus Jake tells us about campaigning for better cycling infrastructure in Oxford, his love of coaching youth cycle teams, the importance of giving cycling a go, and his work with Coca Cola to engage some of Europe's largest retailers on environment and sustainability.
For the fourth in our blog series on the Cycle.land community, we hear from Kristina, a grad student at Oxford University and user of our Community Bikes.
We caught up with Scott for the third in our blog series on the Cycle.land community.
We caught up with Jon, Oxford commuter, for the second in our blog series on the Cycle.land community.
We caught up with Adrien, Cambridge explorer, for the first in our blog series on the Cycle.land community.
Meet the cyclist: Ross Wallace, student and part-time barista. He cycles every day in Edinburgh on his bright red 12-speed racer. He hasn't once got a bus in the 9 months that he's lived here. He says that cycling makes the city seem smaller, more familiar and accessible, while at the same time revealing new routes and shortcuts, especially when "descending into and exploring the labyrinthine Old Town".
