Brasenose Community Bikes
With the Brasenose Community Bikes we aim to comprehensively improve the cycling experience for Brasenose students. Please click here to check out how it works.
Cycle.land, supported by Oxford University Innovation, has launched a social marketplace for bike sharing in Oxford (www.cycle.land). Our aim is to create a tight knit community of bike sharers and optimise the quality and quantity of cycling in Oxford. We are keen to assist Brasenose cyclists by designing, promoting and operating this bike sharing system for Brasenose College.
Brasenose students can use 2 regularly maintained pool bikes free of charge via an online booking system. Bikes can be booked at any time. The bikes are situated in the secure bike storage between staircases 14 and 15.
If you need a bike for longer periods, just book one of the peer-to-peer bikes on www.cycle.land.
You can also use our repair service for your private bike. Our bike mechanic will come to Brasenose College regularly to check and maintain the Brasenose Community Bikes. If you would like our mechanic to do small repairs (e.g. flat tyres, rusty break cables) on your private bike as well, please just send an email to Brasenose@cycle.land and we will arrange a convenient time for the repair.
